Marcus Sipolt

Business Operations & Finance

After graduating with a BS in Accounting from Western Illinois University (WIU), Marcus joined Arthur Andersen in Chicago. Marcus transferred to Phoenix and joined the consulting practice of Andersen which eventually transitioned into Andersen Consulting and then Accenture. Marcus has been a licensed CPA in both Illinois and Arizona and focused most of his professional career in the financial services market.

He was promoted to Partner after 10 years and transferred to the New York office to head up the New Jersey Government Services Practice. After two years in New York, he transferred back to Phoenix to lead the Arizona and New Mexico Government Services Practice and the International Gaming Practice. During his 20 years with the organizations he has been responsible for a many gaming studies and projects and the successful startup of over eight US lotteries and many it projects for public and private Clients.

In 1997, Marcus obtained his MBA from the ASU W.P. Carey School of Business and started TB Consulting, LLC (TBC). TBC is a 50+ person Phoenix based business and Microsoft Partner firm focused on assisting mid-sized organization with back office operations and technology. Marcus continues to serve as the President and recently successfully transitioned the management to his business partner and new marketing, sales, and operation teams.

Marcus also founded a professional business advisory firm – BlindSide (BlindSideSBC.com) focusing on assisting business owners reach their whole potential inside and outside of their organization. He is also a trained professional EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Implementer and his team currently assists over a dozen local professional service organizations in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Marcus has been recognized as the WIU Alumni Achievement Award Recipient and the 2010 Distinguished Alumnus College of Business and Technology. He continues to be an active participant and member of the WIU President’s Advisory Council, ASU College of Education Deans Advisory Council, Fiesta Bowl Board, Catholic Charities Board, and Audrey’s Angels Board. Nate Sachs

Business Coach & Transitional Leader

Nathan is the founder and owner of Blueprints for Tomorrow, a Scottsdale-based business specializing in Succession, Exit, and Transition Planning. Nathan’s goal is to get business owners to work on improving their businesses instead of just working within their businesses. His breakthrough Blueprints for Tomorrow Program is a series of financial blueprints that helps business owners deal with the “what ifs” that keep them awake at night.

Nathan who hails from Indianapolis, Indiana, has almost four decades of experience working with business owners. Nathan is a frequent lecturer at business organizations across the country. He has published over 100 articles focusing on exit planning strategies. Nathan Sachs is a sought-after expert resource for strategic business planning publications. In addition, he has also been awarded Vistage International’s Rookie Speaker of the Year award for 2010.

Ellie Wilson

Executive Assistant

EllieElizabeth Wilson, typically goes by her nickname since birth, Ellie. Ellie took on the role as an assistant in the early year of 2017, but did not start as a virtual assistant, with Blind Side SBC until February, 2019. Working with her other boss, Lucy who is an artist, really helped prepare her to work with Marcus Sipolt. From answering emails, covering small projects and encouraging her bosses, Ellie is the one behind the scenes checking in on the little details.

When she isn’t working from home for Blind Side, she is taking time to invest in her relationships, mainly with her husband, Zach. She loves taking time to sharpen her skills in photography, painting, or exploring new coffee shops in the Phoenix area.

David Lane

Associate

David graduated from University of San Diego (USD) with a BA in Accounting and Financing. He works behind the scenes for Blind Side on both client acquisitions and processes, as well as policies applying his business acumen achieved from University of San Diego. He has also been an Investment Advisor Intern at TMD & Associates. While there he restructured a new, efficient system to help organize and categorize client files, created effective SmartDraw workflow charts for client’s revocable living trust agreement, and managed deposits and withdrawals for investment advisory clients in 2014 workbook. David adds a young twist while applying leading edge technology to the practice.
